Our Mission Statement-
The Children’s Center’s mission is to honor God by providing a safe educational environment that encourages growth for every child spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

We are a Christian-oriented program. We accept children of all races, ethnicities, backgrounds, and faiths. The Children’s Center is inclusive, and does not discriminate in the admission or provision of services, and enrollment shall be made without regard to race, color, religious creed, ancestry, national origin, age or gender.

Keystone STARS-
We are a STAR 4 center as designated by the Keystone STARS program of Pennsylvania. Keystone STARS is an initiative of the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) to improve, support, and recognize the continuous quality improvement efforts of early learning programs in Pennsylvania.

The Keystone STARS Performance Standards provide the foundation for the program.  There are 4 levels within the program, STAR 4 being the highest.

Each level builds on the previous level, and utilizes research-based best practices to promote quality early learning and positive child outcomes. The Children’s Center is proud of its’ STAR 4 rating and its commitment to quality.

PA State Licensed Facility-
We are a certified DHS licensed facility.  We follow all regulations of the PA state Child care laws.  We are inspected annually to insure compliance with those laws.

Before and After School Care for grades 1-6

Full Day Summer Program for Kindergarten – 5th grade

We provide breakfast until 7:30 am for Pre school, Pre-K, Kindergarten and School Age children. Breakfast is served until 7:45 am for Toddlers. Snacks are provided, but children bring packed lunches.

The Children’s Center accepts subsidy payments from Child Care Works.The Subsidized Child Care Program helps low-income families pay a portion of their child care fees. The state and federal governments fund this program, which is managed by the Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC) located in Lancaster county.

If you meet the income guidelines:

• The ELRC will pay a part of your child care cost. This is called a subsidy payment.
• You will pay a part of the cost. This is called the family co-pay.
• The subsidy payment and the family co-pay go directly to the child care provider.

There is a $40 non-refundable registration fee per child annually.
Minimum enrollment of three days per week.
For families with siblings enrolled 5 days per week, 10% discount for tuition of the oldest child.
